Sever Individually Uprooted (Windblown) Trees
|Course Code:||CS 34|
|Course Description:||A 2 day course dealing with the severing of rootplates from individually uprooted or windblown trees using a chainsaw in a safe manner, using winches where neccesary|
|Suitable For:||Any person who is expected to tidy up trees or woodlands that have suffered from uprooting from natural causes or high winds and storms. The training prepares the candidate to take an assessment for City & Guilds NPTC CS 34|
|Pre-Requisites:||CS 30, 31, 32.|
|Times:||9.00am to 5.00pm daily|
|Learning Outcomes:||Risk Assessment and Legislation.
Sever wind blown or otherwise uprooted trees, both under and over effective guidebar length in diameter
Restrain overhanging (forward weighted) root plates prior to severing stems.
|Equipment Needs:||A waterproof coat is advisable (course will continue even in rain). All other equipment needed will be provided.|
|Costs & Breakdown:||Training £180.00 plus vat. Assessment £155 no vat.|
|Notes:||Candidates will need to bring their own lunch. Hot drinks will be provided for the duration of the course, free of charge.|
